All operations of an
airliner after its take-off
rely on the automatic
electronic piloting system.
Any interference will affect
its precision and cause air
accidents. In order to
maintain air safety,
according to Aviation Act
Clause 43, any use of
electronic devices that
might interfere flight
communication system is
prohibited on the flight.
Violators shall be sentenced
to imprisonment of at most 5
years, laboring, or capital
fine of no more than
150,000. Life imprisonment
or 7 year plus
term-imprisonment will be
imposed if any death is
incurred.
Prohibited electronic
appliances include mobile
phones, CD players, remote
controllers, pagers, laptop
computer and its
accessories, FM radio,
shave, radio transmitter,
video recorder, video
player, TV sets, video
games, calculators, and
camcorders.
