Name:     Magong Airport, Civil Aeronautical Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communication

History:   1957, Civil Air Transport Inc. began operation with C-46 model.
1966, construction of the terminal building began and Magong lounge was set up under Kaohsiung International Airport
1 August 1977, Magong Airport was set up (Class C airport).
18 January 1993, it was turned into a Class B airport.
11 May 1991, it took over Qimei and Wang-an island airports to set up Qimei and Wang-an Auxiliary Airport.
